The 41st Volvo Car Open announces new changes to the WTA’s longest running tournament, including improved ticket and vacation packages, and a new website.

As tickets go on sale to the general public, a slew of new ticketing initiatives have been implemented to give fans more options for attending the Volvo Car Open.

“We worked hard to listen to our fans this year, and create new ticketing options to better suit their needs,” said Bob Moran, tournament director. “We hope patrons take advantage of the new packages and utilize them to improve their Volvo Car Open experience.”

For the first time in the tournament’s history, ticket packages will be available for purchase online. All Volvo Car Open ticket packages offer a minimum savings of 14 percent off the regular single session ticketing pricing – providing more tennis, at a greater value.

Original to the 2013 tournament is an After-Hours Package, giving fans access to every night match, happy hour and live music - Tues, April 2nd – Friday, April 5th.

Another ticketing addition is the Daily Double. Patrons will receive a reduced ticket rate when they purchase tickets for a day and night session on the same day.

Junior and group rates have been revamped, providing exclusive offers to encourage children 12 under, and groups of ten or more, to come out and experience the tournament at reduced rates. Both ticket types are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.

Volvo Car Open is also proud to announce its brand-new website. The website’s improved usability will make it easier than ever to purchase tickets online. Users accessing the site can now easily navigate content, browse photos and find headline news.
