Health and Safety
The 2021 Volvo Car Open team has one priority– to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.
As we prepare to host the 2021 Volvo Car Open, our team has one priority…
To ensure the health and safety of everyone involved – fans, players, partners, media, vendors, and staff.
With that in mind, the Volvo Car Open team alongside our community of medical professionals, state and local government officials and the WTA tour, will be working to provide the highest standard of protocols for a healthy and safe event.
While we don’t know exactly what 2021 will look like right now, we do know a few things for certain.
We are committed to operating the Volvo Car Open in April of 2021. We will follow all health and safety guidelines set forth by governmental agencies at that time. As of now, our team is working as if we are moving forward with our normal preparation cycle for the tournament.
We understand both here in Charleston and abroad, the COVID-19 pandemic changes daily and you may have questions. While we do not have all of the answers, we will be transparent about our efforts to provide the highest standard of protocols for a healthy and safe environment.
As we look ahead towards April, please continue to check for the latest information about the 2021 Volvo Car Open. For the latest information surrounding the pandemic, please visit the websites Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
